Training is Just the Tip of the Spear

  • This year-round class helps develop athletes regardless of the season they are in. This is the most advanced class offered to our student athletes and is specifically designed to increase strength, speed, power and endurance that will be directly transferable to sport.

    Every athlete that participates in this class will be tested and evaluated with some of the most advanced strength and conditioning technology at the beginning and end of every year in order to keep track of progress. After the initial evaluation, the athlete will receive their own personalized program which is updated every single month in order to maximize athletic potential.

  • Personal training programs offer high quality one-on-one or small group personal training sessions with a professional fitness coach.

    The program includes:

    • Fitness assessments

    • Exercises designed for your level of fitness and goals

    • Monthly exercise plans specially designed for days between personal training sessions

    • Two to three training sessions per week depending on your goals and schedule

  • Athletes should seek sports-specific personal training to enhance performance, prevent injuries and accelerate skill development by focusing on the unique demands of their sport.

    Training programs improve speed, agility, and endurance; build resilience to common sport-related injuries; and teach sport-specific techniques, ultimately preparing athletes for higher levels of competition.  

    Enhanced Performance

    • Sport-Specific Conditioning:

      Training mimics the exact movements and muscle contractions of a sport, strengthening the specific muscles and ranges of motion needed for success. 

    • Physical Attributes:

      Personalized training boosts critical attributes like strength, power, speed, agility, and endurance, allowing athletes to perform at their peak. 

    • Improved Physicality:

      Athletes develop increased body awareness, balance, flexibility, and explosiveness, contributing to overall athletic ability.

      A trainer can identify and correct underlying weaknesses and bio-mechanical issues that make an athlete vulnerable to injury. 

    • Building Resilience:

      Through targeted exercises and proper technique, training builds resilience in bones and muscles, helping the body withstand the stress of sports. 

    • Proper Recovery:

      Trainers provide guidance on effective warm-up, cool-down, and recovery strategies to reduce the risk of overuse and repetitive injuries. 

    Accelerated Skill Development

    • Refined Techniques:

      Trainers provide personalized coaching to perfect technical skills, such as shooting form, footwork, and decision-making under pressure. 

    • Progressive Training:

      Programs are tailored to an athlete's growth, providing appropriate challenges without overexertion.

      Training prepares high school athletes for the physical and competitive demands of college sports or beyond.
