Trifecta tournament hosted by Stony Point High School.

Anderson will be sending (12) golfers, (3) Teams, to compete in this uniquely formatted competition that requires golfers to rely on teammates to achieve a low score.

Rules & Regulations for Trifecta Play:
This is a four-person team event played under three different golfing formats.

Holes 1 thru 6 - Scramble

Each player on a 4-person team hits a tee ball, then selects their best positioned ball to each hit their second shot. The team’s third best position shot will then be selected and each will hit from that spot, and so on, until the team holes its putt. Record your 4-person team score.

Holes 7 thru 12 - Alternate Shot

 So players can take more swings, each 4 person team will sub-divide into 2-person teams. Each player on each 2-person team will hit a tee ball, then select their best positioned ball to hit their second shot. The players whose ball was selected shall not hit the next shot; his/her playing partner will hit the second shot. The alternate partner will hit the third shot, and the team members will continue to take turns in a similar fashion until the ball is holed. You will play the ball as it lies. You will not replace your partner's ball with your own ball until you reach the green (in case you like to putt with your preferred ball type). Except when team member's tee off, only one ball is in play until the ball is holed. After completion of the hole, record the score of the lowest 2-person team. The lowest 2-person score will count as your 4-person team score.

Holes 13 thru 18 - Best Ball

The 4-person team members will play their own ball until holed. After completion of the hole, team members record the score of the person who had the lowest individual score.
